Dr. Theodore Raptis

Dr. Raptis was born in New York, NY and grew up in Rockland County. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and has been in private practice in Boca Raton for 23 years. Treating over 700 athletes, Dr. Raptis served as Director of the Boca Raton Regional Hospital Sports Medicine Program and was the Head Team Physician for Florida Atlantic University and Lynn University. In 2014, he was nominated, along with 60 of his peers, by the community of Boca Raton and ultimately received the award of Doctor of Distinction by the Rotary Club of Downtown Boca Raton.

Dr. Raptis is an honors graduate of Muhlenberg College. He received his medical degree at St. George University School of Medicine. His residency was completed at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in New York. He was Chief Resident in his final year of residency. After completing his residency, Dr. Raptis moved to Boca Raton, Florida where he continued his career in private practice.

Over the last 23 years, Dr. Raptis has excelled in his profession providing compassionate, quality care to numerous patients in our community and internationally. Dr. Raptis has privileges at both Boca Raton Regional Hospital and West Boca Medical Center. He has served as Vice President of the Department of Medicine, Vice President of the Medical Staff and ultimately as President of the Medical Staff at Boca Raton Regional Hospital.

Dr. Raptis has been married to his wife Vickie for 25 years and have one child.
